隨著科技的演變，通訊技術的進化更是馬不停蹄，工業物聯網相關應用已經成為現今熱門話題之一，而工業物聯網架構下的智慧個人防護裝備應用能為工作人員帶來提升職業健康與安全、增加工作效率等益處。但因礦坑中容易受到地形限制、阻隔等問題干擾，加上語音資料的傳輸特性與一般感測器資料不同，現有的通訊架構大多都不利於串流的傳輸方式，目前始終沒有一個低成本且方便有效的通訊方法。因此本研究提出一個基於LoRa的多跳語音傳輸系統，解決此類型運用常會遇到的通訊問題，包含傳感器資料的回傳、簡單的定位追蹤及半雙工的語音的通話能力等，本研究以LoRa作為通訊基礎建立一個多跳無線網狀網路，同時能夠讓節點之間以多跳的方式進行點對

點的通訊。此外，本研究也於實際大樓場景中進行了一系列的測試，用於模擬礦坑中的複雜環境，在大樓中總共布置了26個節點以模擬工人通話，並且能夠在不同通話頻率的實驗中皆取得將近90%的封包傳輸成功率。本研究期望提出的架構和實驗結果能夠讓位於地下複雜地形工作的工人有一個低成本、穩定的通訊系統，而且相當輕巧容易攜帶，不影響到工作活動，以同時改善工人的職業安全和增加工作效率。
