漢語“V得/不住”格式 : 動力驅動學與構式語法的觀點

摘要 本文主要探討屬於漢語動結式的“V得/不住”格式的語意和語法特點。我們關注的重點有三:第一、哪些類型的動詞能夠進入“V得/不住”格式中?第二、當動詞進入“V得/不住”格式後會有什麼動力表現情形?第三、“V得/不住”格式所具有的語意內涵為何? 就第一項議題來說,本文分析了大量的書面語料,根據Smith (1991)、曹逢甫(1998)和鄧守信(1974)等對情境和動詞分類的原則,將能夠進入“V得/不住”格式的動詞作歸納整理為兩大類,即狀態類和活動類,並且就動詞的詞彙語意進一步做次分類。狀態類情境有五種次類:姿態、存放、掩藏、心理狀態和形容詞,而活動類情境有四種次類:抓握、抵抗、

抑制和忍類動詞。 關於第二項議題,本文採用Talmy (2000)所提出的動力驅動理論來分析動詞進入“V得/不住”格式後的動力表現。研究結果發現一共有三種動力類型:(一)狀態類的五種動詞體現「穩定不變的動力驅動類型」、(二)活動類的抓握、抵抗和抑制動詞表現「變動的動力驅動類型」、 (三)活動類的忍類動詞呈現出「內在心理領域」的動力表現。動詞本身具有的語意屬性,將決定兩個動力實體(主動體和對抗體)分別由句子中哪一個NP所扮演。同時,本文亦結合認知語法的概念來解釋主語和賓語選擇的問題。 最後一項議題,本文透過構式語法理論(Goldberg 1995),認為“V得/不住”構式是一個形式(

[NP1 V 得/不住 (NP2)])與意義的搭配,並且歸結出五種次類格式,分別是:(一)表示「中心意義」的[X1能否持續V Y2]。(二)表示「靜態義」的[X1能否持續V Y2的狀態]。(三)表示「阻止避免義」的[X1能否持續V Y2以阻止Y2改變X1]。(四)表示「隱喻擴展義」的[X1能否使自己持續V Y2]。(五)表示「不及物」的[X能否持續V的狀態]。本文發現這五種次類格式之間呈現出多義聯繫、子部分聯繫和隱喻擴展聯繫等關係,它們的承繼聯接有其內部結構,按層級關係相互聯繫,共同形成一個構式家族。
