從古至今，一直流傳的名言【民以食為天】，可見糧食在我們的生活中所佔有的重要性，是不容忽視的。再加上身處在以美食聞名世界各地的台灣，台灣人有多麼愛吃、有多麼好吃，從各種型態的美食節目及自媒體，用誘人的美食節目內容不停地推播，引誘著你和我，去縮短我們與「餓」的距離，讓大家總是在不知不覺中，隨時隨地處在尋找各地及各式美食的情境裡。再加上2020年新冠肺炎疫情漫延至今，除改變我們原本的生活環境與生活型態，更延伸出新的商機，因而帶起的外食需求急速增加，再加上用補貼方式來台灣搶市佔率的國際外送平台雙方大車拼，讓外送市場正式進入急速及火紅的大爆發時期。因此在這日趨競爭的外送平台市場裡，如何讓消費者再有消費
需求時，無論是想購買餐點或飲料或日常用品時，願意持續在該外送平台上消費，讓消費者產生對該外送平台的黏著度，就是一項很重要的課題。本研究依據問卷調查法進行資料蒐集，總共回收樣本有254份，進行資料分析，研究結果發現服務品質會正向的影響顧客消費意圖、服務品質會正向影響滿意度、滿意度會正向影響顧客消費意圖與顧客消費意圖會正向影響顧客忠誠度，研究結果有助於了解外送平台經營或管理層面之參考依據。
